Alive first won the Tattersall Cup in 2018 and when she again claimed victory in 2023, businessman and entrepreneur Phillip Turner’s Reichel/Pugh 66 became just the second Tasmanian yacht in the race’s history to win the prestigious trophy twice, sharing this achievement with Westward. With regular skipper and Hobart local Duncan Hine at the helm, Alive campaigned on the Asian offshore circuit earlier this year, winning Line Honours in the Rolex China Sea Race.
