Daguet

Frederic Puzin has recently purchased Tony Kirby’s Patrice, which finished 16th overall for third in Division 2 in last year’s race. In 2017, the Ker 46 placed third overall, cementing her as the Blue Water Pointscore champion. Patrice retired from the 2013, 2015 and 2016 Rolex Sydney Hobarts with damage, but was ninth overall in 2014, winning Division 1. She was third in the 2018 Ponant Sydney Noumea Race and won the 654nm Groupama race and placed ninth to win Division 2 in the 2019 Noakes Sydney Gold Coast race.

Renamed Daguet 3, she replaces Puzin’s Mylius 50 of the same name, 6th overall and second in IRC Division A in the 2019 Rolex Giraglia, second in IRC Division 3 in the 2019 Rolex Middle Sea Race, second in IRC Division B of the 2019 Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez, third in 2018 and second in 2017, winner of the IRC French Mediterranean offshore championship Division 1 2017 and 2019. The Frenchman, who is a regular in European events, has the right boat and crew that includes record-breaking shorthanded sailor Sam Goodchild, and other international sailing stars such as Thomas Rouxel and Nicolas Troussel – a combination that could prove the catalyst for success.
